Justin Timberlake surprised fans in Hoboken, N.J. on Wednesday night with a short, intimate concert.
The singer invited fans to join him at Maxwell’s while he filmed a Target commercial. FYI, Maxwell’s is a famous music club that closed July 31 after 35 years.
“Join me & @Target tonight for just one song. Let’s ‘Take Back the Night.’ First 150 get in. See you there,” Timberlake tweeted last night. The singer included a photo collage of Maxwell’s, a clock, and a microphone.
According to the Jersey Journal, thousands of fans showed up to see JT in action. The publication reported that police used loudspeakers to try to keep the streets clear, but it was of little use.”
In fact, one fan tweeted from the scene writing, “This is complete mayhem. Pretty sure all of #Hoboken is here. #JustinTimberlake #AylaFindsJT.”
But of course, only a lucky 150 was able to watch Justin “Take Back The Night.”
