Kanye West is being called “ignorant” after poking fun at Parkinson’s Disease in his song, “On Sight.”
“A monster about to come alive again. Soon as I pull up and park the Benz we get this b*tch shaking like Parkinson’s,” West raps on the track featured on his Yeezus album.
HipHollywood spoke with Kathryn Whitford, VP of the American Parkinson Disease Association, who told us that Kanye’s lyrics are hurtful. “It’s so stereotypical. People with Parkinson’s aren’t just walking around and shaking,” Whitford shared. “It shows that people don’t understand the disease, and it’s really a sign of ignorance,” she added.
The association says they have no intention on reaching out to Kanye’s camp.
