Former Destiny’s Child member LeToya Luckett has finally spoken out about Kelly Rowland’s controversial song, “Dirty Laundry.”
While on the red carpet for the ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Music Awards on Thursday night, Luckett shared with HipHollywood her reaction to Kelly’s single. “I’m so glad that she was able to open up and really just, she almost gave a piece of herself. That is big of her, she was so honest, and it was a vulnerable moment for her,” 32-year-old explained.
“As artists and creative people, we have so much stuff locked in that we don’t get to express it, and she did that with this record,” Luckett added.
“Dirty Laundry” is a track on Rowland’s fourth studio album Talk A Good Game that documents Kelly’s envy towards former Destiny’s Child band member, Beyonce.
LeToya is currently shooting the next season of Single Ladies, and is the new host of Centric’s CultureList.
