Kym Whitley is bringing her crazy, quirky personality to reality TV. The comedienne will star in her own docu-series on OWN, called Raising Whitley. The show will follow Kym’s day to day life while she raises her adopted son Joshua.
HipHollywood caught up with the diva over the weekend during the Silver Rose Gala and Auction to find out what fans can expect. “The antics, the fun, the struggle of being a single mom, and how you can ask for help,” Whitley shared. “We gonna see me trying to date, gonna see me looking real, no make-up, make-up [on] and wig sideways,” the actress joked.
Raising Whitley premieres April 20th at 10pm, following Iyanla: Fix My Life.
