Jamie Foxx To Join Cast Of “Annie”?
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jamie Foxx is in talks to join the cast of Annie. If negotiations go through, Foxx would play Benjamin Stacks, an updated version of the Daddy Warbucks character.
Nine-year-old Quvenzhané Wallis has already been cast to play the feisty orphan girl. The film is being produced by Jay-Z and Will Smith with Will Gluck (Friends with Benefits) set to direct.
“Annie” is expected to hit theaters in 2014.
