Chris Brown made an appearance on the Today Show Monday morning, and opened up to Matt Lauer about his relationship with girlfriend Rihanna.
When asked about the 2009 beating of the pop diva, Brown shared with the NBC host that during his 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling, he learned that his actions were absolutely wrong.
“I’ve been humbled by the whole experience. From me losing everything, you know, to me having to regain public opinion or whatever it is,” Brown shared.
“But most importantly, knowing that what I did was totally wrong and having to kind of deal with myself and kind of forgive myself in the same breath, and being able to apologize to, you know, Rihanna, and being able to BE that man that can be a man,” Brown added.
As for where Chris and RiRi stand, “She knows where my heart is, and I know where her heart is … The only thing I can do is please my family, myself, and please her, you know, and my fans.” Brown shared.

Brown also released a new music video on Tuesday for his latest single, “Fine China.” The futuristic piece features the singer and an Asian companion whose father is part of the Chinese Triad. You can check out that video below.
