Exclusive: Tone Loc Doing “Fine” Following Weekend Collapse

A rep for legendary rapper Tone Loc tells HipHollywood.com exclusively that the musician is doing “fine” after collapsing over the weekend.
Tone was performing in Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday night when he collapsed, abruptly ending his concert. The 90s rap star was treated on scene, but refused to be transported to a hospital for further evaluation. Video footage of the medical drama shows the star surrounded by personnel with security telling everyone to leave the venue.
This isn’t the rapper’s first time collapsing on stage: the “Funky Cold Medina” singer had a seizure during a 2009 concert in Pensacola, Florida. Loc also collapsed in 1995 while attending a Los Angeles Lakers game.
HipHollywood contacted Tone Loc’s management for comment, who ensured us, “Tone is fine,” adding, “Tone was treated immediately after he became sick and went back to his hotel, and then made his flight home the next day.”
Good to know. Wishing Tone the best.
